How the Pokémon personality quiz works
Soul Pokémon is a free Pokémon quiz — a "what Pokémon are you" quiz that answers the question "what Pokémon am I?" from your date of birth. Instead of a list of multiple-choice questions, the quiz reads your Chinese zodiac sign — the animal and element of your birth year — and matches it against the full National Pokédex, from the first Red and Blue editions to the latest generation, including Mega Evolutions, Gigantamax, regional and Paradox forms.

2. Your Chinese zodiac sign is calculated
The lunar calendar decides your animal sign (Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig), its element and its yin or yang polarity.
3. You get your top 3 Pokémon matches
The AI turns those zodiac traits into three Pokémon matches with a compatibility score, the character traits you share, and the top 3 rival Pokémon that clash with your sign.
