How the Pokémon card price check works
1. Take or upload a photo
Use your webcam or phone camera, or select an existing image file. Fill the frame with the card and keep the light even so the set symbol and card number stay readable.
2. The card is identified
The scanner reads the card name, the set and the card number from the picture, including holo, reverse holo, promo and special-illustration variants.
3. You get raw, PSA 9 and PSA 10 estimates
Current market prices are looked up for that exact card and shown as three figures — near-mint ungraded, PSA 9 and PSA 10 — converted to the currency of the country you are browsing from.

- Is the Pokémon card price checker free?
- Yes. Scanning a card and seeing its estimated raw, PSA 9 and PSA 10 value is free, with no account, sign-up or email address. You can check as many cards as you like.
- How accurate are the card value estimates?
- The figures are estimates of current market prices, not an offer or an appraisal. Pokémon card prices move constantly and depend on the exact print, edition and condition, so treat the result as a ballpark and confirm with recent sold listings before buying or selling.
- What do PSA 9 and PSA 10 mean?
- PSA grades a submitted card from 1 to 10 after checking centering, corners, edges and surface. PSA 9 is Mint, PSA 10 is Gem Mint — practically flawless. Because Gem Mint copies are scarce, a PSA 10 usually sells for several times the PSA 9 price, and both sell above the same card ungraded.
- Does an ungraded card carry the raw price?
- Only if it is near mint. The raw estimate assumes a clean, well-centred card with no whitening, scratches or creases. Played copies sell for a fraction of that, which is why the scanner shows the raw price separately from the graded ones.
- Does it work with photos taken on a phone?
- Yes. A normal phone photo works as long as the card fills most of the frame, the picture is in focus and there is no strong glare across the artwork or the card number.
- Which Pokémon cards can be checked?
- English Pokémon TCG cards from Base Set onwards, including holos, reverse holos, full arts, alternate arts, promos and modern special illustration rares. Rare or misprinted cards can be harder to identify from a photo.
- In which currency are the prices shown?
- In the currency matching the country you are browsing from, converted from the market price of the card. Change your language or location and the estimates follow.
